Seattle Show Offers
Buyers a “Cutting Edge”
As the second edition under new
management team Urban Expositions, the Seattle Gift Show’s
August 21-24, 2010 edition at the
Washington State Convention Center comes together with the permanent showrooms at the Pacific
Market Center for Seattle Market
Week (August 18-24). These two
world-class, easy-to-shop venues
will bring together a tremendous
product selection of cutting edge
designs in virtually every category, including top name companies
and innovative newcomers, as well
as breaking trends and bountiful
buyer services.
“We received extremely positive feedback from exhibitors and
buyers alike about the expanded
selection and new programs we
brought together for the Winter
2010 edition and we’re using this
input to fine-tune our offerings
for August,” explains Doug Miller, president, Urban Expositions.
“We’re continuing to enhance the
buyer services and product re-
source to build on the show’s well-
established reputation as a cost-ef-
fective, convenient place to see the
newest product innovations that
cater to today’s Pacific Northwest
consumer.”
Among the highlights for the
Seattle Gift Show:
Selection
Retailers can explore more resources than ever before from hundreds of companies representing
more than 3,000 plus top name
lines and innovative newcomers. Exhibitors are categorized in
eight easy-to-shop sections: Food
Focus, Gifts & Collectibles, Handmade, Home & Garden, Northwest
Directions, Personal Style,
Treasures To Go (Cash & Carry)
and Vintage Collection.
Product Previews
Before buyers step out on the show
floor, they should make plans to
visit the special Product Preview
Area in the main lobby. An ideal
place to get a quick overview of
new products and plan buying
schedules, this area will showcase
the newest designs and “must
have” items from many of the
show’s exhibitors.
